We’ve rolled out a new financing option that you can offer to your customers: Klarna for Podium Payments.
Klarna serves a comprehensive set of industries, and this new text-to-pay option gives HVAC and professional services businesses even more flexibility on how they can offer financing solutions to their customers.
New Feature Release – Automation Test Mode
The Automations team at Podium is excited to introduce “Test Mode.” This new testing experience can be enabled for new and existing automations in Podium.
When enabling a new automation, it can be daunting to make sure the setup is airtight and your target audience is receiving the correct messages from your business. You can now utilize Test Mode to monitor the logs of your automation and make sure the correct customers are receiving the correct message!
Once you’ve verified that everything looks good, you can activate your automation to complete actions for your business or send messages to your customers.
Transcription Confidence For Voice AI
We’ve improved how Podium’s Voice AI uses transcription to translate what your customers said on a call into text — especially when the AI can’t clearly understand what the caller said. This new improvement is called “transcription confidence”.
Here’s how that works: We now calculate a confidence score for each transcribed speech, and if the score is below our threshold, we have the Voice AI agent prompt for the caller to repeat themselves.
This creates a better call experience and ensures that the agent has all the context needed to provide the best experience.
New: Call Group Schedules
Excited to share a new Podium Phones update! If you have assigned call groups, you can now set custom schedules for each group. This gives you control and confidence in how incoming calls will route during and after-hours.
Pro tip: Just make sure your business hours cover any group’s early or late shifts.
New “Call Over Cellular” Verification Flow
Speaking of Podium Phones, we have another update to share with you. Mobile Phones customers can now verify their cellular fallback number via text.
With one click, customers can verify their cell phone number so they can use “call over cellular” and switch to cellular. This update provides more clarity for our users and removes extra steps in the verification process.
Improved Notification Settings on Android
We made an update to ensure that our users on Android devices get all of their call and message notifications. Right now, take a look at your device permissions and reach out to your Account Manager if you have any questions about the setup.
